Auries Star Hcp (Flem 8/8): Mic Mac (left, winning Hobartville at RH last season)obviously a great up & coming sprinter and old El Segundo also ran on extremely well, considering it wasn't run to suit backmarkers.
Addendum: Stryker, a maiden from the Waller stable & a horse to follow from 8/1 was entered at Canterbury midweek but is a scratching on another slow track; terrible accident for Pat Quinn
