Santa Margarita at SA

Hi from Sydney, and i will be out at Royal Randwick for the opening of the new track. Unfortunately there was a lot of rain overnight and it is oc w. possibility of more showers this arvo.

The lone Gr 1 race in the USA today (Saturday 3/17) is the $300K Santa Margarita for fillies and mares on the main track over 1&1/8 mi. It is only a field of 6 and apart from the favorite, #4 Ellafitz, it is a very weak field. My selection is 4-6-1, and Happy St Patricks Day to all my followers.
RESULT; It was a sloppy track at SA and Ellafitz didn't handle it. after leading to the turn, finsihed 4th of 4. Final x-x-x 17: 6-3-2, 0.35; out 17 in 18.05;
