Big 'Cap prediction

Road to the Derby passes thru NYC this week with the Gotham at AQU but I am making my predicition in the 76th running of the Gr 1 Santa Anita Hcp over 1&1/4mi (2000m). i think the pace will be OK with Handsmome Mike going to the lead from PP 2 with John Scott pressin fwd from 7 and Game on Dude coming acorss from 9. "The Dude" is topweight and defintiely the best horse in the race,loves the track and distance and won this race 2 yrs ago. I will make him my official selection,although  i think morning line of 6/5 is too short, i rate him more of a 2/1 shot from his wide barrier. Same with last year's wnnier Ron the Greek,also too short at 5/2,would want at least 7/2. Better value are the 4 yo stablemate Guilt Trip (6/1) [and John Scott (20/1) but scratched]. SO THE DUDE OPENED 9/5 AND STARTED 6/5, SMITH TOOK HIM STRAIGHT TO THE FRONT, CROSSING SHARPLY TO THE RAIL, THEN LOL IN SOLID FRACTIONS (23-2,47-0), SKIPPED AWAY AT THE TOP OF THE STRECTH AND WON BY A DOZEN LENGTHS LIKE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 1/20. REALLY A CLASS ABOVE ALLOF THESE.
