Westchester Stakes prediction

Glorious day here in NYC, sunny and 70 degrees for the 73rd running of the Gr3 Westchester Stakes over 1 mile on the main dirt track on Opening Day at Belmont today. With numbers 1,4 & 8 scratched, there is only a field of 5 to run and the quality has really fallen away, so this will be very disappointing for NYRA. My prediction is 5-2-3 in a small mediocre field. The consensus is that #5 Rattlesnake Bridge will suffer from the 2nd up syndrome today and also may not be suited by a lack of pace, but I still have him on top (Lezcano up for Kiaran McLaughlin), envisaging 2 leading 6&7 with 5 & 3 stalking. Next week is the first Saturday in May is, of course, Kentucky Derby day.
