#56. SA R8 Santa Ysabel, 3f-III/8.5f, D/f. 7 of 9 ran. The start was good for all. Off at 7-1, #2Stellar Wind broke slowly and sat off the pace in the 3p with jockey Victor Espinoza through much of the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) prep race, then moved up four-wide through the second turn and into the stretch before pulling away to win by 2 3/4 lengths over 9/4 favorite and second-place finisher #6 Light the City with the gold cap, which had been duelling outside of #3. #5 had been stalking the pac and fought on for 3rd. it was a slowly run race,tThe first quarter in 24, the half in 73, and they ran home in 30 (NB the GP program was washed out)
