Kentucky Derby 2010

I'm still on a steep learning curve with handicapping. The Derby is race 11 on the 13 race card, scheduled to run at 6.24 pm with a field of 20 and expected to be a rain affected track, so it is a very tricky affair to say the least. But I am going for the UK import Awesome Act who i bet on in the Wood Memorial at Aqueduct when trackside 4/3, when he was a bit disappointing when 3rd to Eskandereya, who is scratched today. He is 10/1 so I think is a good bet "across (the board)" i.e. each way. the main chnaces are Lookin' at Lucky (the pre-post fav, 2yo of the year last season, but disappointing 3rd last start in Santa Anita Derby and drawn awkwardly from barrier 1), American Lion, and Paddy O'Prado, but Awesome Act is given some chance [unplaced; 6:0-4)
