Road to 2011 KY Derby: week 3

This Saturday is busy on the RTKYD11 front, with Comma To The Top (won Futurity in Dec) premiering in the in the El Camino Real Derby at GG 9f-syn, Tapizar looking for the hat trick in the Robert B. Lewis Stks at SA 9f, and Brethren, the half brother to last year's KYD winner Super Saver debuting in the Sam F. Davis Stks at TAM (8.5f). Will be interesting to see how my ratings look after today, altough Uncle Mo (won BC Juv) not expected to appear until March.

I am going to bet locally on the 3yo fillies in the non-graded Dearly Precious Stks, a field of 6 over 6f on te inner track at Aqueduct. Selection is #4 Wild About Sonny: having only 3rd start, first at stks level, but been impressive, looks to have been set for this (stable is hot) and pace should suit. I have her rated at 9/4 (2-1 in ML) so stake is 3U

Wild About Sonny: got into a bumping duel with the winner in te back stretch and came off second best-finished last .Bal: 6:1-1-1 .16/.50; win: out 20.8, in 4.2, bal-16.6
