It is the 55th running of the $250K Mother Goose, 3fswp-1/1700, on th main dirt track which should be fast. it is overcast and 75 but humid and feels more like 85. IHS selects 9-5 ML fav Joyful Victory with Ramon up for Larry Jones from barrier 4 in the 7 horse field. She was beaten fav in the KY Oaks last start on May 6th coming out of barr #1, but was felt to have been held up at a crucial moment on the home turn (see video, on the inside of 2nd line, the grey horse in the red & white stripes and qrtrd cap).
RESULT: JUST GOT UP FOR 2ND; NEVER A CHANCE
