A week until Belmont

First day of my new Instant Handicapping 1.0 system, although it is definitely a work-in-progress.

At Belmont, the main race is the Gr 2 6.5f Vagrancy Hcp for mares; selection is the short priced favorite Hilda's Passion(3-5f). She is looking to atone here, having being run down when odds-on fav at in a Gr1 at CD on Derby Day. A front-runner, she carries the topweight spotting the field 3kg but does looks very hard to beat against these from post #2. #4,5 and 3 are best of rest.

The DRF "race of the day" is the Gr2 1&1/8 mi Californian Stks at Hollywood Park and another odds on fav is the selection, the highly-talented but crazy #1 Twirling Candy (4-5f). should mend his ways (blinkers off), with #2,5,&7 posing as real dangers.

The Vagrancy went off first at 5:17 ET, with 2 scratchings so Hilda's Passion went off the 2-5 fav in a field of 5. After all most falling coming out of the gate under Castellano, the speedy "Hilda" went straight to the front to wired it easily, just 3/5 sec outside tk record. Paid $2.90 for $2. Tri 2-3-5.
A couple of hours later, Twirling Candy (2/5) pulled early then Roasrio pressed the button at the top of the stretch and he raced away. a perfect start 2-0 start for IH 1.0, though profit small.

In the Californian (7:38 ET),
