RTKyD12: Wood Memorial/SA Derby

Happy easter/passover to blog followers. Can't get out to Aqueduct this year for the big Wood Memorial day because of family commitments.
Race #22: WoodMem (R9). My selection is 6-1-3. #6 Gemologist in the whilte, green & black colors of Winstar Farms (Pletcher/castellano) is following in Uncle Mo's footsteps, and needs to win or place today to make the Derby field. #1 is Alpha (K. McLaughlin/Ramon), who won for me in the Withers back in early Feb, and #3 is My Adonis, 2nd in the Gotham. these appear the main chances.
Race#23: CarterH. While at the Big "A", in the Gr 1 Carter Handicap (7f) my selection is 3-2-4, #3 Caleb's Posse (shipping in from OP for Donnie von Hemel, won BC Mile), #2 Jackson Bend and #4 Calibrachoa. #5 Shackelford & #1 Emcee the likely pace
Race #24: SADerby. On the West Coast, R6 the Santa Anita Derby my selection is 1-2-8. A strong field of 10, sticking with #1 Creative Cause [won Race#15, San Felipe 5 weeks ago], over #2 Liaison & #8 Midnight Transfer. 4,5,6 not wihtout a hope.

It is also Illinois Derby Day at Arlington with a full field of 14 as well as 3 emergencies
