Wood memorial and SA Derby

In the Wood Memorial its the very gritty undefeated Withers & Gotham winner Samraat vs the inexperienced speedball Social inclusion. I have Krsto on top but for my SHOWdown selection I have gone for #10 Uncle Sigh to alos hit the board again. #11 #11 Social Inclusion jumped a bit awarkdly from outside gate and crossed but still 3 wide CHT ing contest lead with #7Schivarelli and #8Samraat. SI only shook them off at the 200 but succumbed to the pressure and faded in the final 50 and not disgraced. #2 wicked strong got a nice trip saving ground midfield on the rail, then moved outisde on the far turn and charged down the middle of the track (?helped by bias) to gobble them up. Samraat got held upo a bit t 100 and ran on strongly at end. My selection #10Uncle Sigh missed start and got back and did battle on in closing stages but never likely. In the SA Derby, I have Candy Boy on top but I will go with Hoppertunity again for the SHOWdown in which I am 9 for 14. California Chrome won in a cakewalk. Hoppertunity got 2nd, so I'm now 16 for 10
