Shoemaker Mile prediction

Hi, Triple Crown is done for 2014, and now it's the second half of the season and time to head towards the Breeders Cup. I will be focusing on the big turf routes for older horses. Today we have a top class field of 7 (minus Wise Dan who is out injured) for this year's renewal now run at SA in place of HOL, with the likes of returning champ Obviously, Winning Prize & Silentio the class of the field. The pace is likely to be hot so may suit the up & coming closer #2 Jack Milton, impressive winner under similar circumstances of the Gr3 Poker Stakes at Belmont on Memorial Day, with the rail way out. Now he's out on the West Coast, off a 3-week back up, and up in class. But he's my selection to make it 3 for 3 this year, and 3/1 on the ML. Result: WON. Class prevailed. Obviously got the unpressured lead which he likes, set a solid fractional of 68-0 and then shot clear at the TOS, coming home in a tiring 24-3. Jack Milton (pink, black cap) got well back as expected and although but made up ground on him it was not enough but not disgraced when finishing 2&1/2 lengths 5th ("+2"). Progress 1 for 0.
