Preakness 2014 prediction

139th running of the Preakness tomorrow and I have #3 California Chrome on top although the ML is much shorter than i have him rated - 3-5 vs 7/2. But I think he's hard to beat and I will bet him. I could see him going on to take out the TC. For the exotics i have #1,4,5,8 and have a feeling #8 Social inclusion could be the upset. FYI my strike rate on this year's Derby prep races (excluding Dubai) so far is 22 for 8, with average winning odds of almost 5/2 - for an 'edge' of about 22%. not bad for an Aussie on the punt in the Big Apple! "Chrome" started 1/2 and won just like all the others - despite being under pressure to the turn, he just RWA at the TOS. He did seem to tire in the last 100 as the #10 chased him. not sure he can win at belmont, unfortunately. I'm 'batting' at .390 (23 for 9) on the 3yo stakes this year at avge. odds of 2.19, for an edge of 24%. In the American Stakes for 3up on the turf over a mile, the selection was #1 Winning Prize, but the race was reduced to 4 runners after being decimated by scratches. My remaining top selection was #4 Silentio. It ran 3rd after chasing outside the leader odds on fav #2Obviously and tiring in the stretch
