No selections tomorrow

A very quiet weekend, with only 1 graded stakes race in the USA tomorrow, being the Dania Beach for 2yo on the turf mile at GP, a graded stakes this year for the 1st time. It's been dry all week in Ft Lauderdale and expected to be fine and warm again today. I don't like selecting in these races, so we will have the bye. It's a short run to the clubhouse turn, so can get trapped wide, so I'd be looking for an inside runner who can go fwd. the bay colt #5 Yes I'm Lucky (Lopez/Plesa) looks like something with ability that could go forward and be a good chance at 4/1 in the ML, in a field of 9. The #7 from the Phipps Stable looks like an improver. Last year, the filly #2 Mystic Love was having her 4th start coming off a victory in a stakes race at LRL 2 months earlier sat in the garden seat from #1, got the split on the inside on the far turn and won from the fast finishing #10 Charming Kitten (wide on the 1st turn then used up to go fwd; won next start), with the future Preakness runner up #3 Itsmyluckyday also finishing on well from midfield for 4th. Result #7 Mr Speaker won easily. Got the GS and saved ground on the inside #5 ran fifth. He was quite regal looking a bit like Orb, although a bit prancy and sweating up a bit
