THE KENTUCKY DERBY 2014

As much as i would like to see Wicked Strong or one of the other NY horses win, I have #5 California Chrome (Espinoza/Sherman) on top, and like Untapable he is a Beyer "double fig" but he has detractors in the press who query his breeding, his form and his work this week. Based on my ratings marked him the fav but at 10/1, so he's be a big underlay that is expected to go off as the chalk at 3/1. My 2nd highest rated horse is #1 Vicar's In Trouble (Napravnik/Maker) who would be huge overlay, 30/1 in the ML. Next comes Gotham/Withers winner #6 Samrat and #8 General a Rod, (Rosario/Maker) 3rd in the Fla Derby. His pedigree conforms closest to recent winners andI'll probably have something on him at the value.
